Original Ideas in Product Development
Isamu’s entry into the automotive paint field began with “Artex” a product introduced in 1949. Ever since then, we have stayed one step ahead of the times, developing a bountiful array of inventive products like the world’s first acryl-urethane resin paint “Hi-Art” quick-drying super-acryl urethane resin paint “Uni atoron,” high-solid acryl urethane resin paint “AU21” double-cure urethane paint “Ureta 88” and polyester urethane resin paint “Mirano 2K.”
In 2002, Isamu became the first Japanese paint maker to introduce a hyper-aqueous paint as a commercial product, and this outstanding new formula, sold under the name of “AXUZ” (Aquas), went on to win Eco Mark certification in 2007. Isamu demonstrated its commitment to the environment with the debut of low-VOC, environment-responsive, 1 pack system base coat “Acro Base” in 2005. In the years ahead, we will continue to meet new challenges while maintaining our focus on production that cares about the environment.
